For the second time this year, Halifax Regional School Board chair Irvine Carvery is being hounded by the city for allegedly violating the Building Code Act. 

Irvine and wiferoo Monica will be heading to trial on August 28 after they allegedly constructed a garage on their 2354 Creighton Street property without a permit. They are also charged with failing to comply with an order.
